Based in the warm and sheltered micro-climate of Mounts Bay, Cornwall we are able to grow an exciting range of salad leaves, herbs and vegetables all year round, (extreme weather permitting!) Locally known as the ‘golden mile’, we benefit from south facing slopes that warm up early in the spring, and a fertile soil which has traditionally been fed with copious amounts of seaweed.
When choosing what to grow, we like to follow natures lead and sow those varieties that suit the seasons and will naturally thrive. We feel this is beautifully illustrated in salad leaves and herbs which seem to naturally harmonize with the seasons. Whilst winter months lend themselves to deep, intense herbs and peppery leaves, spicy and warming, summer in contrast, is encapsulated in succulent, lush and cooling combinations.
Nourishing, attractive & taste as they should!

Leaves and Herbs
With a wide and varied range of leaves and herbs, we combine around 20 different varieties for our salad bags dependent on those leaves at their very best and the flavours that compliment them. Our herbs, wild rocket and edible flowers are not only a feature of our salad bags but also available separately.

Edible Flowers
With over 25 varieties available throughout the changing seasons, edible flowers can turn any dish into that something special. Flowers can portray a sense of drama and appeal whilst also adding fragrant notes and subtle tones of pepper or spice. Give your salad a lift, stir into cous cous and rice or sprinkle over puddings and cake’s…

Vegetables with a Twist
A diverse range of vegetables, often varieties less widely available, but chosen for taste and fullness of flavour. Dense, buttery french pumpkins, sweet tomatoes on the vine that burst in the mouth, purple podded peas or borlotti beans…our range changes from season to season, yet all aim to excite and inspire what’s on your plate…
